Job Overview—Sales Producer
Position Summary
This role plays a crucial part in achieving the sales objectives of the agency or specialized division as outlined by the agent, aiming to fulfill both long-term and short-term targets for agency expansion. Responsibilities encompass acquiring new business, exploring cross-selling opportunities, enhancing customer service, ensuring client retention, and achieving profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must hold a valid license to solicit and secure new business for the designated specialist department.
- Collaborates with the agent and/or operations manager to assess and recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Provides underwriting and rating services for new accounts.
- Stays informed about new products and industry initiatives.
- Engages in personal and professional development activities.
- Proactively seeks expiration dates from new clients and prospects.
- Fosters strong agency relationships with current clients.
- Achieves production targets and objectives set by the agent or agency manager.
- Keeps a monthly sales record and submits it for review to the agent.
- Undertakes additional tasks as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:
A four-year college degree is required. Previous experience in customer service is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will possess fundamental PC skills, basic mathematical abilities, strong analytical skills, conflict resolution capabilities, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
