We are seeking a Shift Lead to support the C3 Industries team in delivering exceptional service to our customers by assisting them in understanding, selecting, and purchasing cannabis products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service by prioritizing the patient experience.
- Guide customers in comprehending product options and their benefits.
- Educate customers on cannabis characteristics and assist in selecting appropriate strains based on their needs.
- Serve as a role model for staff in sales and customer service excellence.
- Address customer concerns professionally, managing escalations in the absence of management.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and stay informed on industry trends.
- Effectively operate and manage the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Adhere to cash handling procedures and perform daily financial reconciliations.
- Utilize downtime efficiently to ensure the sales floor is well-stocked and organized.
- Open and close the retail location, assist with product intake, inventory management, and cash balancing.
- Distribute tips among team members according to company policy.
- Participate in management meetings, providing insights for employee growth and operational enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in customer service, with a high school diploma or GED.
- Experience in retail or restaurant operations preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash management.
- Proven track record of meeting performance metrics.
- Strong multitasking abilities with effective prioritization skills.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Experience in inventory management and product intake processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of relevant state and local regulations is a plus.
- Must be 21 years of age and able to pass a background check.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary state licenses for employment.
