The Role
In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, product managers, analysts, and UI/UX designers to design and implement new features and improve existing ones.

  • Develop RESTful APIs that integrate with our systems and third-party software
  • Improve backend batch and stream processing software
  • Socialize software designs and database structure with the team
  • Monitor production code in Grafana and resolve issues with your team

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in managing teams and designing solutions
  • Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs in a microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of designing & developing batch processing for data pipelines
  • Professional software development experience in Python or Golang in an Agile environment using Git
  • Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL database model design and query optimization
  • Strong software engineering practices like unit testing, PR reviews, design documentation, and monitoring
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
