Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Patient Sample Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for procuring laboratory test samples from patients and normal donors for clinical and research testing purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure laboratory test samples from patients and normal donors for clinical and research testing purposes
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and efficient sample collection
- Process patient registration and handling of laboratory orders for specimen acquisition within hospital and laboratory information systems
Requirements
- Associate's degree and one year of full-time experience in phlebotomy and collection techniques, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and successful completion of an approved Phlebotomy certificate program, or equivalent combination of education and experience
