About the Role

Cabot Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Representative to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the entire payroll process, ensuring compliance with local and regional requirements, and providing support to employees on payroll-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll processes, including preparation and submission of reports to external providers.
  • Verify and prepare payments, including salaries, social security, and extralegal benefits.
  • Prepare reports for accounting records, local control authorities, and internal control of the company.
  • Participate in the implementation of compensation systems and manage extralegal benefits.
  • Provide permanent support to employees on payroll, social security, and extra-legal benefits.
  • Participate in the organization and implementation of recreational and cultural programs for employees.
  • Follow up on the annual holiday program and prepare monthly reports.
  • Be accountable for file and confidentiality management of employee records.
  • Prepare and deliver local, regional, and corporate reports required in the HR area.
  • Participate in continuous improvement working groups, such as quality, safety, and health, housekeeping, community, communication, and environment.
  • Contribute to the updating and development of procedures, guidelines, instructions, and rules to facilitate control and standardization of processes within the company.
  • Participate and support activities of the Occupational Health and Industrial Safety Program, using the methodology of the Stop Program, PSM, and Responsible Care (RC).
  • Maintain the work area in optimum housekeeping conditions daily, according to Work Place Organization guidelines.
  • Perform daily activities following procedures and instructions of the area to ensure standardization of operations, improve quality of results, and optimize resource utilization in accordance with Quality Systems, Environmental, and Responsible Care (RC).
  • Maintain updated employee registers, ensuring solid and reliable data.
  • Participate in the salary survey.
  • Prepare, deliver, and collect services surveys.
  • Be aware daily of every personnel service and provide a solution/answer.
  • Keep continuous contact with the Purchasing area to maintain updated lists of contracts and purchasing orders with each supplier of the HR area.
  • Participate actively in the Outreach Community Team.

Requirements

  • Ability to plan and coordinate different activities.
  • Discipline, organization, time management, and attention to details.
  • Teamwork, communication, and good interpersonal relations.
  • Service-oriented initiative and resourcefulness to make decisions when meeting with employees.
  • Confidentiality.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Graduate Degree Certificate.
  • At least 1 year experience in the human resources area.
  • Knowledge of payroll management and compensation systems.
  • Good knowledge of computer tools (Office).
  • Knowledge of Local Labor Laws.
  • Knowledge of all HR Processes (recruitment, benefits, training, etc.).
