Job Overview
We are looking for a Destination Specialist to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will unleash the adventurer in every person and deliver exceptional experiences.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create superb trips in Latin America which our guests can optionally book before, during, or after a group departure.
- Negotiate services and contracts with our providers.
- Coordinate reservations with partners and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze the market to improve our products and sales strategy.
- React quickly to emergencies, find the best possible solution, and share information with stakeholders.
- Ensure all information is correctly displayed in our internal system 'GO'.
- Constantly measure the quality of your products and take immediate action if needed.
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in the tourism industry, preferably in group or individual travel.
- Knowledge of different Latin American countries from traveling yourself.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Able to focus on few priorities and say 'no' to things.
- Negotiation skills.
- Flexible time management in emergency situations.
- Great language skills in Spanish, English, and French.
