Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with production and facility teams to integrate well site data, saltwater disposal information, compressor site metrics, and field automation into our WonderWare SCADA systems for alarm tracking, historical data analysis, and visualization. Oversee the daily operations, upkeep, and enhancement of SCADA systems using corporate-standard solutions. Provide support for plants and facilities, focusing on process controls within these locations. Engage with various stakeholders, including automation, measurement, engineering, production, operations, and IT support teams. Work alongside engineers, geoscientists, data managers, and software developers to identify, construct, and implement solutions for complex upstream unconventional business challenges. Design, deploy, and maintain SCADA systems such as WonderWare and Ignition. Commit to continuous learning and share industry best practices with colleagues.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Electronic/Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline from an accredited institution. Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills. At least 5 years of experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining SCADA and automation control systems. Expertise in one or more SCADA platforms, including Red Lions, WonderWare, Ignition, AutoSol (ACM), and Win911. Familiarity with firewall technologies such as Cisco ASA, Cisco FTD, Palo Alto, and Eagle One. Willingness to participate in a rotational on-call schedule with team members.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in the upstream oil and gas sector. Experience with large-scale data management systems. Proficient in building, deploying, and supporting Ignition screens using Python. Knowledge of AutoSol (ACM), ACP ThinManager, Win911, and Ignition. Experience with RTUs (ROC, TotalFlow), PLCs, and related HMI hardware/software (Allen-Bradley, Modicon, GE). Minimum of 3 years working with WonderWare's software suite (IAS, InTouch, InSQL). Understanding of field radio and network communications is advantageous. Experience in user-centered design processes is a plus.
