Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Internal Controller Junior to join our team at VitalAire Canada Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of internal controls, ensuring compliance with Air Liquide guidelines and policies, and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Internal Control:

    • Collaborate with the Internal Controls Supervisor to identify, eliminate, or mitigate internal control risks in a timely manner.

    • Ensure compliance with the Group's key control principles, focusing on financial processes, operations, information technologies, and business.

    • Develop and document controls, promoting a culture of compliance and risk management.

    • Participate in group and local internal audit projects, responding to findings and identifying compensating controls where applicable.

    • Develop and maintain the SOD matrix within GRC to actively monitor Segregation of Duties on a proactive basis.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify and take ownership of process improvement and automation opportunities within the BSC, utilizing proven techniques such as Lean Management, Six Sigma, and Business Process Management Systems.

    • Contribute to projects and track progress, engaging all departments to create and maintain a continuous improvement culture.
  • Performance, Quality, and Conformity:

    • Ensure accuracy and reliability of deliverables, executing defined action plans within specified due dates.

    • Ensure corporate rules and principles are properly applied, respecting Air Liquide safety policies, procedures, and programs.
Requirements

We are looking for a young professional or advanced student with a Finance, Accounting, or Business Management bachelor degree. English language proficiency is required, with Spanish mandatory. Knowledge of Google environment and Oracle is preferred. Experience in a multi-national company and shared service center is desirable. Strong oral and written communication skills, change-oriented, problem-solving, and committed to results are essential.
