The Procurement and Payment Junior Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely payment of suppliers and processing of invoices.
This role will involve working closely with the AP Team Lead and other departments to resolve issues impacting the AP function.
Key Responsibilities- Process invoices aligned with predetermined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Respond to supplier and internal inquiries in a timely manner.
- Communicate proactively with other departments to resolve issues impacting the AP function.
- Support specific countries as assigned with third-level escalations.
- Assist with audits as required.
- Process Rush invoices as needed.
- Maintain strong knowledge of payables and purchasing procedures and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency of business processes and make recommendations.
- Participate in the promotion of company safety objectives and adhere to all company procedures.
- Research and resolve invoices on hold, following up with vendors and requestors as needed.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal clients to resolve invoice and payment issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
Education: College degree.
Experience/Certifications: 1-3 years experience in Accounts Payable desirable. Knowledge of International Accounting Standards desirable. Knowledge of Oracle and invoice processing tools desirable.
Language Requirements: English: Advanced proficiency required [B2/C1]. Spanish mandatory.
