Our diverse clientele includes prominent national and international insurance companies, mutuals, captives, managing general agents (MGAs), Lloyd's syndicates, reinsurers, brokers, distributors, and corporate insureds.
The company operates through three distinct business segments: Claims Services, InsureTech, and Insurance Management.
Recently, Charles Taylor was acquired by an investment firm managed by Lovell Minnick Partners LLC, a US Private Equity firm focused on the global financial services sector, including technology and business services. This acquisition is set to bolster Charles Taylor's growth strategy, emphasizing the expansion of client relationships, enhancement of specialized capabilities, broadening the range of services and technology solutions, increasing geographic reach, and reinvesting in service quality and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, document, and confirm business requirements.
- Collaborate with development and design teams to convert business requirements into technical specifications.
- Ensure that the final deliverable aligns with business goals and requirements.
- Maintain project roadmaps and contribute to planning and monitoring for timely delivery of solutions.
- Create, structure, and organize internal project documentation.
Required Skills
- Uphold and promote Charles Taylor Values by demonstrating Agility, Integrity, Care, Accountability, and Collaboration.
- Currently pursuing or have completed a degree in Information Technology (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology) or possess relevant experience in IT projects.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Fundamental understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with pseudocode.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a quick learning ability.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in the Finance sector or Banking is advantageous.
- Proficient in English, with advanced skills for daily communication.
