Initially created to trial edgier product collections before introducing them to the mass market through JD stores, the size? offer has since expanded to include its own exclusive product releases.

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Store Manager to lead our team in driving sales growth, maximising store profitability, and delivering exceptional customer service on the high street. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for maintaining company standards, following guidelines, and representing our business in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the store manager to ensure seamless team performance and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Act as a key holder, assisting with opening and closing procedures, money handling, and ensuring stock is accurately managed.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills when dealing with customer complaints and enquiries, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Regularly monitor the sales team's service levels to ensure targets are met and exceeded, leveraging business knowledge and reports to inform strategic decisions.
  • Effectively manage deliveries, stock handling, and product placement to minimise losses and drive profits.
  • Serve as a mentor, leader, and positive role model, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork to achieve common business goals.

Additional Duties:

  • Conduct yourself in a manner that consistently represents size? in a professional light.
  • Ensure daily briefs and important communications from Head Office are shared and understood by all team members.
  • Implement tasks effectively, delegating responsibilities while leading by example and showcasing a hands-on approach.
  • Aid in the induction and training of new colleagues, while also developing existing staff to meet company expectations.
  • Oversee daily tasking requirements, replenishment systems, and merchandising standards to maintain an engaging shopping environment.
  • Perform work safely and responsibly at all times.
  • Maintain close communication with the visual team to develop merchandising skills, standards, and commercial opportunities.
  • Familiarise yourself with KPIs, including footfall, ATV, USP, and Conversion rates, and apply this knowledge to drive sales growth and target achievement.

About You:

  • The ideal candidate should possess a genuine interest in the size? brand and a passion for the products we specialise in.
  • You should be confident in communicating with diverse consumers and delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
  • While experience in a supervisory role is preferred, we provide a comprehensive induction and training programme to support your development.
  • We seek individuals who embody ambition, resourcefulness, and a willingness to learn and grow with our business.
  • You should demonstrate a strong work ethic, effective time management skills, and self-motivation.
  • Additionally, you should be adaptable, resilient, and equipped with problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Experience in Visual Merchandising would be advantageous, but not required.
