Role Overview:
As a Security Automation Engineer, your primary role will involve the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive security software solutions tailored for our SaaS security platform. This includes critical functions such as bot detection and fraud prevention. Your key responsibilities will encompass writing secure code, assessing and addressing potential security vulnerabilities, and integrating state-of-the-art security tools and methodologies into our offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance security automation capabilities in collaboration with our AI/ML research team and security experts.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into software tools or services that may enable threat actors to circumvent our bot detection mechanisms.
  • Engage with external security researchers as part of our bug bounty initiative.
  • Manage components of the vulnerability management framework for our software ecosystem.
  • Maintain an up-to-date repository of threat intelligence, vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and adversarial research.
  • Work alongside our security analysts on complex security investigations.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of integration, including configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, and deployment of our internal security tools.
  • Identify emerging standards and technologies that could enhance the accuracy of our security products.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional development experience, ideally with a full-stack background. Proficiency in Web Frontend, JavaScript, Web APIs, and Python is preferred.
  • Experience in integrating security measures into build, deployment, and testing automation, as well as managing the software development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with web security principles, including the OWASP framework.
  • Hands-on experience in API test automation and standardization is highly desirable.
  • Previous involvement in bug bounty programs and a record of public CVEs or research related to web applications is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of modern web browser security architecture, network protocols, and web automation frameworks.
  • Experience in red teaming, including bot-net development and ethical hacking, is a plus.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a curious mindset.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
