Information Security Compliance Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Compliance Specialist to join our Global GRC Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our global ISMS (based on ISO27001) over the LATAM region. This involves evaluating compliance status, identifying security risks, and providing follow-up actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation processes to enhance team efficiency and reduce resources spent on operational tasks.
- Investigate technologies that could improve the security baseline and compliance (e.g., DLP, end-point protection, network security, security and vulnerabilities assessment).
- Understand technical and administrative controls in various areas, including networking, operations, access management, SSDLC, cloud security, end-point protection, physical security, third-party risk assessment, organization security, and legal compliance.
- Identify security threats and risks over processes, conducts, technology, and context that may affect information confidentiality, integrity, or availability.
- Analyze third-party solutions to identify security risks before adopting or implementing them, requiring knowledge in technical areas such as protocols, databases, and cloud environments.
- Contribute to the development of awareness material and the process of delivery and measurement.
- Perform routine activities to ensure compliance with security frameworks and legislation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/advanced education in Computer Science, Computer or Systems Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the IT industry.
- Proven experience in IT areas such as Networking, Cloud Computing (AWS-GCP), Log analysis and troubleshooting, Access Management (preferable using IDP solutions), Mobile Device Management, Endpoint Protection, DNS (BMI, SPF, DMARC), and Upper Intermediate English level.
Preferred Qualifications
- +1 year of dedicated experience in any of the following areas: System Administrator, Security Consultant, Security Analyst/Engineer, or Information Security related Certifications/Trainings.
