The Senior Executive, Industry Groups Latin America will lead the business development, clients, and marketing efforts for the Latin America Consumer Goods & Retail (CG&R), Industrials, Manufacturing & Transportation (IMT), and the Financial Institutions (FI) Industry Groups (IGs), working closely with the RIG Leaders and the Steering Committees to develop and execute the client and market strategy in the LATAM region. It is a strategic role, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to interact and manage partners and working groups; to develop and promote client-facing IGs initiatives and operations in a consistent manner across the Firm; to raise the profile of the IGs regionally and globally; and to contribute to position the Firm as an industry leader in different industry sectors.
**Responsibilities**:
Business Planning and Budgeting
- Develop and deliver a compelling BDMC strategy and planning across the region, understanding market needs and dynamics. This role is focused on setting the strategic market-focused direction for the three industries (CG&R, IMT, FI), while supporting the Latin America Healthcare & Life Science (HLS) and the Technology, Media & Telecoms (TMT) industry groups
- Working close with the regional practice groups to align the industry priorities and activities with the regional practice groups business plans In line with the Firm’s Client Value Model, define, develop and deliver industry-specific value propositions, products, and services that highlight our commercial capabilities and drive client growth across sectors.
- Support the RIG Leaders to work closely with the LATAM's Industry Group experts.
- Advise and guide the IG working groups on priorities, most valuable opportunities and use of resources.
- Promote collaboration, dialogue, and joint initiatives among the RIGs and the Regional Practice Groups, and local offices.
- Facilitate and secure LA IG experts' visibility and engagement in internal and external meetings and industry-related events.
- Develop and manage budget proactively to ensure effective implementation of strategy
Client/ Industry Development
- Work in close collaboration with the local and regional BDs and KM to help equip fee earners so that they can understand the business realities our clients face and business trends, irrespective of their Practice Group. Securing at least quarterly industry reports (hot topics) that can be distributed with the lawyers around the region
- Ensure the Latin America regional CG&R, IMT, FI efforts are aligned to the global
strategy
- Support the Latin America Healthcare & Life Science (HLS) and the Technology, Media & Telecoms (TMT) industry groups in their business development and marketing efforts
- Produce financial analysis of industry trends/opportunities around the industries in the
region
Profile Raising & Communications
- Articulate the participation, in particular, the global initiatives and regional events, major industry conference, sponsorships, and key partnerships
- Work with the LA Marketing & Communications team to develop and execute a communications media plan, and ensure that the three industries have a compelling media and social media presence
Bid Support & Credentials
- Work with Specialist Pitch & Pursuits Excellence and E2E Proposal Production colleagues to prepare industry group-specific bids and proposals and contribute to multi-group bids and proposals
- Partner with and provide guidance to Specialist Pitch & Pursuits Excellence and E2E
- Proposal Production colleagues.

colleagues to develop and maintain suites of industry group bid support materials for each subsector
- Encourage and/or lead proposal debriefs and client satisfaction reviews
**Skills and Experience**:
- Significant experience in a marketing and/or business development role, preferably in a professional services environment
- Knowledge of the CG&R, IMT, FI sectors is preferred, as is experienced in an industry-focused role.
- Numerical and data analysis skills
- Experience working with stakeholders and developing relationships
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English
- Ability to effectively coordinate competing priorities
- Strong judgment and ability to suggest well-reasoned independent recommendations and ideas
- Advanced understanding of marketing and communications
- Self-motivated and independent, able to work with a minimum of supervision
- Comfortable working across multiple cultures and time zones in a matrix organization
