As the **Customer Marketing Associate Manager** for Virulana brand, you will lead a cultural use of data-driven insights built by a deep understanding of the retail environment and the shopper's path to purchase behavior to drive company actions. The actions consist in 5p's and go-to-market strategies and plans that seek to create value for Newell, customers, and shoppers in an omnichannel world.
**Your top accountabilities will be**:
1. Recommend & Implement our brands/categories Strategy and plan alongside with Marketing and Sales lead
- Recommend and align the roadmap to implement the commercial strategy.
- Recommend, align, and execute the Commercial Plans in all the different Retail Environments and strategic customers.
2. Define and execute through the commercial plan by executing the 5P’s per Retail Environment and for Strategic Customers, based in data driven insights.
- Propose & define the right assortment (product, size, packaging), promo level, pricing, gross to net level, for customers and environments.
- Path to purchase strategy
- Shelf layout and navigation alongside with CatMan - based on shopper understanding (decision tree)
- Omni shopper marketing activation to enhance shopper experience in store and online. - based on shopper and customer understanding
3. Define and track the execution performance for key retail environment and key customers to meet the targets for growth and profitability.
- Define KPI’s for right assortment distribution, price-promo, placement (on shelf and secondary location).
- Tracking execution, discuss performance and share insights and results with multi-functional team. Adjust the 5P's plan as needed.
4. Provide country Team leadership in Customer Marketing and build organizational capability:
- Recommend customer engagement strategy, aligning category vision to Key Customers, lead a 3Y plan and yearly JBP.
- RGM, profitability growth calculations, cost to serve & execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor/Professional in Administration, Marketing and/or similar. Desirable Specialization or Master's Degree in Administration and/or Marketing Management/Trade Marketing.
- Very good experience on Retail Environment, Customer Marketing & Shopper Marketing/ Trade Marketing in consumer goods industry.
- Portfolio & retail environment expertise in market from idea to execution.
- Experience managing category development for a wide complex portfolio.
- Developing Brands & Category inside the stores: defining P.O.S. and channel policies (i.e. CatMan, planograms, KPIs, activations, etc), managing the full implementation
- Understanding of the different customers/channels relevance, operating model and service required to win.
- Accountable for KPIs, P&L and tracking results, with quantitative data from multiple sources (ROI, sell-out, market share, market audits, sell-in, etc)
- Shopper understanding + consumer research experience
- Multifunctional team leader. Direct and indirect, leading internal teams plus managing external partners (i.e. agencies)
- Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook.
- Strong data management (Accountable for KPIs, P&L and tracking results)
- Clear focus on strategy and tactics that will drive business growth and profit.
- Capable of resolving issues in a timely manner and proactively seeking emerging opportunities.
- Advanced level of MS Office / Excel required. CatMan & Power BI desirable.
- Advanced/profesional level of English - enough to oral speaking
