The Security Researcher is responsible for conducting IT Security related investigations as well as generating and disseminating findings, positioning the Company not only as a software provider but also as an expert in the Industry, that supports, educates and raises IT Security awareness in final users and companies.
Job description

Responsibilities and Duties
- To investigate and consult specialized media on topics related to IT Security.
- To analyze the malicious code pieces and other attacks present in the samples received by the Research Laboratory.
- To write IT Security content in the Company blog (WeLiveSecurity), for the home and business users as well as more technical audiences.
- To write articles and guidelines based on the needs detected by the Company, which will be published later in We Live Security.
- To act as the Company's media spokesperson, for press, radio and television.
- To participate in different Computer Security Events in the Latin American countries.
- To visit customers or prospects according to their awareness and education needs, and to the Partner/Distributor's resolutions.
- To give talks in schools (for students and parents), complying with the Company's social responsibility actions.
- To carry out research on specific topics related to Computer Security, in order to prepare papers that can be published and/or presented at international Conferences.
- Scope: Regional.

**Requirements**:
Education
- Complete or advanced university studies in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Technician, etc.

Experience
- From 1 to 3 years working experience in Computer Security or IT-related areas.
- Experience in tasks or projects related to education.

Knowlege
- Malware Analysis.
- Programming skills (desirable).
- Management of communications networks and networking.
- Technology infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of Computer Security.

Languages
- English: intermediate/advanced.

- Written and oral communication skills.
- Research

- Independent learner.
