Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Treasury Leader, located in Buenos Aires or San Pablo.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all Financial Operations activities within LAA

ensuring cash/liquidity management for the region through the implementation and maintenance of the transactional banking infrastructure, including but not limited to bank accounts administration, payment flows, Central Bank regulatory framework for each country in LAA, oversee all back-office activities for Financial Risk Management activity and front-office activities that are done within the region. Core to Financial Operations is the efficient management of maintaining an optimal balance of cash in our bank accounts to meet operational needs while minimizing overdrafts in accounts and unlocking cash for investment pools that yield better returns than regular bank account returns. This process needs to be efficiently facilitated across various stakeholders to minimize tax leakage and maximize Dow's cash available for deployment in support of Dow's corporate strategy. The Financial Operations Leader is the responsible to understand and will act as consultant/matter expert on the challenging Central Bank regulatory framework in the region providing real-time advice to the business and function to anticipate issues that may pose operational restriction.

Responsibilities / Duties
- Lead LAA Financial Operations, coordinating a team of ~10 people between Argentina & Brazil
- Ensure optimal local liquidity structures and tax-efficient intercompany borrowing and lending, maximizing Dow’s ability to sterilize cash.
- Anticipate, plan and execute short term cash flow strategy; Forecast excess liquidity and execute short term investment to enhance financial result on idle cash assessing risks/reward.
- Oversee Financial operations teams to optimize liquidity flows, forecast and reconcile daily short-term cash flow, delivering cash needs on a daily basis and oversee settlement processes.
- Good knowledge of Central Bank regulations, among all LAA countries.
- Oversee all back-office activities for Financial Risk Management Team.
- Lead all local Financial Risk Management activities done in the region, FX, Investments.
- Lead implementation of cash management best practices while remaining compliant with local and regional standards and regulations.
- Manage Bank relationship with global and regional Banks to provide bank account and financial services to Dow in LAA.
- Knowledge and understanding of Dow’s in-House Bank structure and operating complexities.
- Administrate Intercompany loan’s infrastructure and In-House banking relationship between LAA and Corporate
- Project Management skills and Leadership: special projects as Real Estate, LER, M&A, Argentina trapped cash.
- Close interaction with financial accounting department in relation to Treasury transactions.
- Extensive interaction with other Dow Treasury, Accounting and Finance functions in relation to Treasury transaction.
- Training, development, and retention of Financial Operations Analysts. Implement best practices, focus resources and efforts to motivate teams, and provide guidance and coaching for people with various and diverse backgrounds.

Experience
- A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline
- A minimum of 7 years related work experience.
- MBA or Master’s degree in Finance.
- Prior Treasury related experience
