We are looking for a new Sr. Release Train Engineer to join the Digital Systems & Solution Engineering team of our Center of Excellence in Buenos Aires.

What you will do in this role
- Release Train Planning: Facilitating and guiding the planning process of the Agile Release Train, including PI planning, backlog refinement, and iteration planning.
- Release Train Execution: Collaborating with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Development Teams to ensure effective execution of program increments (PIs) and adherence to Agile principles and practices.
- Program-Level Problem Solving: Identifying and addressing impediments and risks that may impact the delivery of the release train. Coordinating with stakeholders to resolve dependencies and mitigate issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the release train, fostering an Agile mindset, and promoting a culture of learning and innovation.

To help you succeed, you need to have
- Strong understanding and practical experience in Agile methodologies, particularly in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable seamless and automated software releases.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and quality assurance practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality software within the release train.
- Agile Metrics and Reporting: Ability to collect and analyze relevant Agile metrics to monitor the health and performance of the release train and provide actionable insights.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools and release management processes to effectively manage software configurations and releases.
- Understanding of infrastructure components and deployment techniques to support the release and deployment activities within the release train.
- Proficiency in release management practices, including release planning, coordination, and execution. Experience in managing complex software releases and ensuring smooth delivery of software products.
- Ability to lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, such as PI planning, Scrum of Scrums, and Inspect and Adapt events.
- Proven experience in driving cultural change, promoting continuous improvement, and fostering a learning environment.
- Solid program and project management skills, including experience in managing large-scale software development projects or programs. Ability to oversee multiple initiatives, track progress, mitigate risks, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Familiarity with software development practices, technologies, and tools to effectively collaborate with development teams and understand technical complexities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with multiple global tech leaders and partners, train, and coach team members.
- Effectiveness in fostering collaboration, resolving conflicts, and driving consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Fluent in oral and written Spanish language; advanced written and minimum of B1 or B2 level in oral English language.

And it will be a plus if you have
- Relevant certifications such as SAFe RTE, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Project Management Professional (PMP).
