The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. **About the Team**:
The logistics Lead will be driving the performance, innovation and reliability of our Logistics teams, working cross-functionally with teams across the entire Shopee business. ARG Logistics network is complex, but with your drive and dedication we will achieve continuous improvement through our Carrier partners, Network design teams, improved demand planning & capacity management, volume allocation between carriers, first mile management to guarantee pickups on sellers, last mile on time performance, and cost management.

You will be accountable for dealing with challenging operational issues, and planning for our peak periods. Reviewing performance, on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. You will have to complete a deep analysis of our network and understand our metrics in detail and have the ability to implement solutions that influence both the short and long-term goals of our business, work closely with the network design team to Map opportunities of cost reduction, and follow the cost per order plan to achieve the target.
- Execute performance management metrics reviews (cost, speed, quality, etc.) for all transportation services(D2D, 1st Mile, Last Mile and others) and derive improvement plans from it
- Drive and lead continuous improvement initiatives with carriers, operation centers, Customer service and Retail teams to improve customer experience, costs or processes
- Prepare for and lead Ops calls, daily business reviews, WBRs, QBRs, Customer Satisfaction workshops
- Manage Speed and accuracy of delivery arrival ensuring the customer gets a perfect delivery execution.
- Advise Shopee Operation leadership proactively of critical situations along with the expected impact and mitigation actions planned
- Produce and communicate transportation plans/forecasts on a regular basis
- Manage and solve Transportation related escalations
- Drive root-cause analysis and the successful implementation of corrective actions with causing parties to improve service or cost, or to resolve a problem
- Drive innovation by taking ownership of new projects and delivering them with success across multiple
- People Management, hire the best, be the leader for the entire logistics team.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience in logistics operations (Logistics Project or transportation)
Continual, tactical communication with external customers and internal customers
- High ability to pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access and SQL) and to perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed
- Roll up sleeves and be prepared to go to the field with the intention of pulling out root causes for problems and support carriers on fixing it
- Develop performance metrics to assist with driving business results - Must be able to systematically escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written as you will be required to create a narrative outlining your weekly findings and the variances to goals, and present these findings in a review forum.
