Team Lead, Client Services, Quantitative

**General Overview**:
The Team Lead is responsible for managing, training, and developing their respective pod for team growth. Additionally, the Team lead is responsible for managing all aspects of healthcare related market research projects accurately and on time through effective communication with internal/external clients and team members. The position demands close contact with the client, making sure the client is fully aware of project status, and that any changes are addressed in a timely and satisfactory manner.
**Principal Team Lead Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Retain some key accounts to manage projects
- Project assignment:
- Managing workload balance across PMs
- Review alert details
- Provide a summary for the project manager with assignment
- Stay cc’ed on specific key accounts as needed
- Attend internal calls on specific key accounts as needed:
- Group Advisor
- 1st line escalation point for project issues
- Troubleshoot / advise on systemic issues facing team, escalation to department head as needed
- Coordinate post-mortems where needed
- Knowledge transfer across the team:
- Responsibility for overall PM training & development
- Ensure best practices are followed through the project life cycle
- Weekly project review meetings
- Review & assist sales on some key account proposals & SOPs
- Manage team holiday requests and coordinate with other Team Leads
**Principal Senior Project Management Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships through exceptional service and consultation
- Ability to determine sample strategies and collaborate with sample sources (both domestic and global) to recruit the highest quality respondents within field timeline
- Interact with and manage vendor relationships
- Respond to time sensitive client inquiries and resolve problems
- Develop an understanding of client’s business issues and the industries in which they operate
- Act as client liaison for questionnaire programming, translations and tabulations as needed.
- Execute projects to ensure client satisfaction while maintaining project budget.
- Manage more complex projects

**Qualifications**:
**_ Educational / Technical_**
- 5+ years’ experience in the data collection industry (currently in an SPM or higher role)
- Industry knowledge of Market Research and Pharmaceutical/health care industry
- Bachelors or equivalent degree preferred
- Proficient in Excel
**Skills and Personal Attributes**:
- Strong people management skills
- Customer service driven with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of quantitative and qualitative research process
- Ability to problem solve and provide clients with suggestions/solutions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures, as well as recommend operational improvements to increase process efficiency
- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as the ability to work independently to solve problems and prioritize tasks
- Comfort dealing with all levels of external clients
