As our Chief People Officer, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive human resources and talent management strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives. You will drive a high-performance culture through the development and implementation of innovative people programs that attract, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a diverse, inclusive, and supportive work environment.
This position will be based at The Sandbox office in Buenos Aires, Argentina and will report directly to the CFO based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy that supports the organization’s growth and strategic objectives.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract, hire, and retain top talent that aligns with the company’s culture and values.
- Oversee performance management and employee development programs, ensuring employees are supported and challenged to grow within the organization.
- Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs that are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the organization’s goals and industry.
- Provide guidance and support to the executive leadership team on all HR-related matters, including organizational design, change management, employee relations, and regulatory compliance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and learning within the HR function, and promote best practices in all aspects of people management.
- Create and maintain an inclusive and diverse work environment that fosters collaboration, innovation, and high levels of engagement.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations, and maintain strong working relationships with relevant regulatory bodies.
**Requirements**:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an executive role, ideally in Tech or Gaming,
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, including but not limited to, salary ranges and career path development.
- Deep understanding of HR best practices and the ability to adapt them to the unique needs of our organization.
- Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization
- Experience managing complex employee relations issues and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Experience built in companies with employees in Argentina and Europe and ideally Uruguay and the US.
