Network Infrastructure

The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

**The team you will be a part of**

You will work in NI (Network Infrastructure) Americas Business Operation within the RBC (Regional Business Center) IP & ON.

In particular, you will work in delivering Optics (DWDM) Projects to our clients and in this role you will have the opportunity to interact with all sectors of Nokia.

**What you will learn and contribute to**

Deploy, transform, and expand new Optical DWDM Networks for Nokia customers in Latin America.

***As part of our team, you will**:

- Execute integration activities with DWDM Optical technologies. Work with network design tools to develop technical procedures required to perform activities in new or live networks.
- Execute on remote technical procedures on customer networks in Latin America region. Configure New services, Nodes, Network topology modifications, etc
- Interact with the engineers on field, supporting the networks activities from the managent system.
- Interactions with customers, and technical experts.

**Your skills and experience**

You must have:

- Electronic or Telecommunications Engineer Degree or alike
- Deep understanding of DWDM Networks technology.
- 3 years' experience working with DWDM Networks, fiber optics networks and transport technologies.
- Knowledge on Ethernet, IP and routing protocols.
- Strong communications skills, customer oriented.
- Ability to document technical procedures.
- Intermediate Level of English (able to read and speak)

**It would be nice if you also had**:

- Knowledge on virtualized environment VMware / KVM
Knowledge on phyton script, Java script, others.
