We are looking for a hands-on, self-motivated** Senior Payroll Analyst** to join our team. Our operations are growing extensively and we are seeking like-minded, entrepreneurial spirits to help us scale our payroll global function
You will provide support for the day to day payroll processing and employee-related tasks in order to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of payroll data and the execution of strong controls processes.
**Jampp is a remote-first company. For this position, it means that you can work remotely from any part of Argentina or Brazil.**
**WHAT YOU'LL DO**
- Take ownership of the payroll process and reply to internal and external queries (including internal and external audits).
- Work along with our Payroll advisors to ensure global payroll compliance and payments on time in Argentina, the US, Brazil, Korea, the UK & Japan.
- Get involved in the monthly payroll tax filings and other compliance requirements.
- Book the monthly payroll accounting journal entries and support the accounting team on payroll-related matters (bonus accruals, vacation day accruals, amongst others).
- Manage employee administrative matters, such as new hires (all the payroll registration in local authorities, the information preparation for People database, documentation required, and other compliance matters), leave management, taxes, and expense reimbursements.
- Work with various customized systems to ensure proper accounting and controls of the payroll information.
- Proactively identify issues and keep managers informed in a timely manner.
- Detect improvement opportunities to trigger new administrative processes.
**WHAT WE LOOK FOR**
- Graduated university student, preferably Certified Accountant, Economics or Business Administration Bachelor Degree, or close to graduation
- +2 years experience in a payroll function
- Willing to learn and grow in a fast-paced technology startup.
- Advanced English and Spanish skills are a must. Portuguese is a plus.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical/financial/accounting and problem-solving skills.
- Superior organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
