Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for ensuring prompt processing, control, and reconciliation of all Import / Export operations

Countries in Scope:
SSLAM: Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, Mexico, Caribbean, and any other country where Aggreko might have future operations.

Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities:
Accounting record of foreign trade operations (exports & imports): Suppliers, intercompany and customs

Analysis of each operation/documentation (verification of purchase orders, associated expenses)

Verify the correct approval of each transaction according to the DOA

Correct administration of the accounting plan and business center

Manage with the Purchasing Department the creation of new suppliers used by the customs agents

Request of reimbursement of balances of unused advances or request for payment of surpluses to PTP Team

Reconciliation of the account statements of the customs agent and customs and foreign suppliers

Account analysis / closing reports: GRNI, associated expenses, inventory in transit.

Proposal of adjustments based on Import / Export documentation analysis.

Person Specification/Job Requirements:
Important Degree in Accounting / maybe Administration (at least 70% of the career)

Experience in similar position for more than 2 years working with Comex suppliers (customs, logistics)

Strong knowledge of cost center accounting

Excel skills

Proactive

Excellent communication skills

Good interpersonal relations

**Salary**: $4,000.00 - $4,800.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
