**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Chase Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) serves more than 64 million consumers and 4 million small businesses with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, small business lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments, auto finance, and investment advice. The JPMorgan Chase Legal Department is responsible for providing legal services to the Corporation and is organized by practice groups that generally align with the firm’s lines of business and corporate staff areas. This structure encourages legal teams, businesses and staff areas to address legal, regulatory, and business developments effectively and in a timely manner.

The position will be located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Job responsibilities:

- Review of Spanish translations of legal agreements and content for digital, credit card and other consumer businesses to ensure that such translations are legally correct and appropriately convey intent of content;
- Serving as an escalation point for legal translation team members;
- Providing legal advice to business team responsible for digital Spanish content;
- Screening of English digital content and escalating for further review as needed;
- Issue-spotting and appropriately escalating risks and concerns that may exist with any product, service, project or other initiative under review;
- Having an interest in digital technology services, particularly mobile and web;
- The ability to foster a strong collaborative framework between the legal teams that support the lines of business and other legal centers of excellence within the CCB and across JPMorgan Chase;
- Assisting with other projects and tasks required of the Payments, Digital Products & Experience legal team;
- Contributing to the strong culture, collaboration, and cohesiveness of the Payments, Digital Products and Experience legal team; and
- All other duties as necessary or assigned in connection with legal support to the business.

Required skills:

- At least three years of legal practicing experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills in both English and Spanish, with demonstrated ability to listen and drive results individually and in a team setting
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, time management and organizational skills
- Comfort in utilizing workflow tools and systems
- Team player with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with legal and non-legal colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently and multitask successfully in fast-paced and changing business environment, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
- Ability to synthesize information to reach logical conclusions
- An ability to comfortably and calmly work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- A good sense of humor
- Experience with financial services and consumer finance regulations is preferred
- Attorney must be licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in the jurisdiction in which the position is based
