How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
The Sales Account Executive based in Buenos Aires will be responsible for maximizing revenues and market share within assigned corporate and agency portfolios in Argentina, and in the future, other Latin geographies.
Main responsibilities in this role include the following but not limited to:
- Build, maintain, and manage agency and/or corporate relationships at all levels with-in the account.
- Optimize existing accounts for new business opportunities.
- Collaboratively negotiate, close and implement agreement renewals.
- Conduct performance analysis of travel agency and/or corporate portfolio to maintain and increase premium revenue.
- Prospect and secure new business
- In collaboration with Sales manager, develop and implement sales and account strategies based on the Sales revenue plan.
- Evaluate and report results and competitive developments.
- Collaborate with corporate and/or Travel Agency Sales Development in executing sales strategies and programs.
- Revert negative trends to address account underperformance.
- Create activity reports for Sales manager to document activities, actions, and results.
- Will have a coordinator role with the sales team and undertake a leading role in marketing activities developing ad-hoc sales material, consumer, and trade activities.
- Lead in building community exposure and goodwill by promoting corporate participation in social responsibility organizations and corporate assemblies.
- Work with a variety of reporting sources including but not limited to Salesforce, CDS/Prism, MIDT, ARC/IATA.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
- Must be fluent in both Spanish and English to interact with Argentinian market, company headquarters and Global Sales Teams.
- 3+ years sales and account management experience
- Must be able and willing to travel both domestically and internationally, up to 70% of the time.
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and requests in a fast-paced.
- Demonstrate aptitude for strong interpersonal relationships and business decision making skills.
- Must be able to manage change with resilience and display tremendous drive and commitment.
- A team player with the ability to understand basic sales reports, identify opportunities inside those sales reports, prioritize based on value and develop and execute plans to achieve opportunities.
- Demonstrate leadership skills and must poses the ability to disseminate information professionally according to Delta values.
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Bachelor's degree (and/or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, or related fields highly preferredKnowledge of Delta’s Reservation System preferred.Airline, corporate travel management, or travel proven experience preferred.
