**ACCOUNT LEAD ONCOHEMATOLOGY**

**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**

The Account Lead is responsible for promoting and generating clinical demand for Oncohematology brands with key HCPs and accounts, pro-actively identifying business opportunities, presenting value propositions aligned to stakeholder needs and objectives, and recommending solutions to drive and develop business.

The long-term goal is to develop strategic and mutually beneficial relationships with the Multi-Disciplinary Team, decision making unit, and potentially other stakeholders, based on a deep scientific understanding of the patient journey in order to identify the best opportunities to deliver life-changing medicines to patients.

This role will report to the Oncohematology Sales Manager and work with key stakeholders.

**Accountabilities**

**Develop account strategy and plans**
- Identify opportunities and strategies to improve positioning Oncohematology products within assigned territory.
- Formulate and implement effective strategies to achieve sales goals and products positioning strategies.
- Work with Sales Manager to develop a local strategy, business plan & account planning to meet targets and further improve positioning of the portfolio.
- Provide market place insights and feedback to the Oncology Marketing and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with others to foster greater coordination around our promotional efforts.

**Create deep stakeholder relationships**
- Engage Oncohematologists HCPs in dialogue about on-label indications, product efficacy / safety profiles and treatment protocols to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
- Establish and maintain ongoing, long term collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
- Build knowledge and understanding about overall Oncology value proposition, and product's labelled indications and efficacy data among all relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain a high degree of competence in the areas of product knowledge, industry/competitive landscape.
- Utilize different communication approaches, techniques and channels to help build knowledge in medical community, integrating digital tools into the promotional communication plan.
- Conduct science-based discussions with the HCP as per the approved indications of products.
- Arrange multidisciplinary workshops for physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Arrange and coordinate effective speaker programs with physician advocates and KOLs.

**Be compliant**
- Successfully complete all training requirements, including product examinations
- Comply with all external regulations and internal policies
- Comply with all company Compliance Guidelines, Code of Conduct and Promotional Practices and follow Takeda's Compliance Policies and Procedures, especially when integrating with Patient Groups.

**Education & Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience with Oncology or high-cost molecules is mandatory
- University degree in Science is preferable
- English as a second language is a nice to have
- General knowledge of the methodology for Access in hight-cost medications
- Knowledge of buying process in private & public sector

El Account Lead es responsable de promover y generar demanda para marcas de oncohematología con los HCPs y cuentas clave, identificar proactivamente oportunidades de negocio, presentar propuestas de valor alineadas con las necesidades y objetivos de las partes interesadas y recomendar soluciones para impulsar y desarrollar negocios.

El objetivo a largo plazo es desarrollar relaciones estratégicas y mutuamente beneficiosas con el equipo multidisciplinario, la unidad de toma de decisiones y potencialmente otras partes interesadas, basadas en una profunda comprensión científica del patient journey que permita identificar las mejores oportunidades para entregar medicamentos que cambian la vida de los pacientes.

Este rol reportará al Gerente de Ventas de Oncohematología y trabajará con stakeholders clave.
