Job Description

Responsible for sales of LSG portfolio in Argentina, with the goal of growing the business and achieving sales targets. Work together with Local Manager to develop account and territory planning to sell products and workflows of LSG. Have a good technical understanding of Biology and Genetics Sciences' products to promote technical and consultative sales. Monitor and analyze sales results, develop new customers, promote and introduce new products through daily customer visits. Build an accurate forecast and be accountable for the numbers. Meet territory targets. Participate in Meetings, Seminars and Workshops. Understand and build strategical plans to beat competition in the territory. Comply with Thermo Fisher's rules.

Main Activities:

  1. Identify, visit and follow up all the potential customers. The main objective is to overachieve AOP.
  2. Develop opportunities for Biology and Genetics Sciences' products.
  3. Learn and adopt a standardized process for: i) Funnel management – deep understanding, assignation of opportunities, dispute resolution; and ii) Forecasting all leads in the territory – drive AOP achievement, raise/bring up issues and ask for help.
  4. Detect and document plans regarding customer's investment opportunities such as: quote, proposals, marketing and sales tools support, organize technical presentations or demonstrations of our products. Be responsible for providing proper support to pre and post sales activities.
  5. Serve as the Single Point of Contact for customers in Argentina regarding support, information and any other related requests.
  6. Drive and ensure full ethics and compliance as well as regulatory practices according to company standards.
  7. Develop new customers, introduce new products and workflows in existing customers.
  8. Attend technical trainings.
  9. Build funnel pipeline and join forecast calls – analyze sales results and market trends.
  10. Develop territory and account planning.
  11. Hit sales targets.
  12. Promote Thermo Fisher's brands.

Minimum requirements:

  1. Biological graduation (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Biomedical, among others).
  2. English Fluency (writing and speaking).
  3. Travel availability.
  4. 2–3 years of experience in commercial roles selling molecular biology equipment or solid knowledge of Molecular Biology techniques willing to start a career within the commercial area.
  5. Clinical Laboratory experience.
