About the Team

Enterprise Services and Public Affairs (ESPA) focuses on enhancing and safeguarding Citi's reputation through direct and indirect communication with various stakeholders, including colleagues. The Global Communications team within ESPA is a versatile group covering executive communications, public engagements, quarterly earnings, and corporate reputation programs, supporting our lines of business. Team members serve as company spokespeople, engage with colleagues, and develop digital communications for a global workforce of over 200,000 colleagues. Collaboration with internal partners, senior leadership, and other ESPA team members worldwide is a key aspect of the team's operations.

This team values proactive, quick-thinking individuals with intellectual curiosity, high professional standards, strong judgment, and thoughtful work. A client service attitude, energy, and a good sense of humor are essential traits for team members.

About the Role

Communications analyst plays a vital role in the International ESPA team for the South Cone subcluster, reporting to the Public Affairs South Cone head. The ideal candidate is a skilled communications professional with international collaboration experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement media relations, internal communications, and social media strategies to enhance Citi's reputation in Latin America.
  • Collaborate internally and externally to execute projects.
  • Support executive communications and manage regional media outreach.
  • Create various internal and external communications materials.
  • Translate and disseminate global communications.
  • Manage internal approvals and monitor KPIs.
  • Assist with reporting on risks and controls.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as processing payments and vendor relations.
Collaborate with Communications leadership to guide ongoing work and identify opportunities for improvement.

When making business decisions, assess risks considering the firm's reputation and compliance with laws and regulations. Uphold ethical standards, manage control issues, and ensure accountability within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, business, or marketing.
  • Minimum 4 years of communications experience, preferably in a large organization.
  • Expertise in media relations, social media, and KPI reporting.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
  • Integrity, maturity, and a positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience working in multicultural teams.
