We are in search of a technically proficient engineering manager to head a security-focused ML Research team. The perfect candidate will guide the research roadmap implementation, supervise research tasks, and ensure the team's development and satisfaction.

What you will do here:
  • Lead the ML Security Applied Research team (4+ ML researchers) to create ML solutions supporting our security products, such as hCaptcha.
  • Supervise the completion and delivery of research projects, collaborating closely with the tech lead, product manager, project manager, and engineering colleagues.
  • Participate in architecture, design, and tech decisions to guarantee accuracy. Be hands-on, grasp the codebase well, and conduct code reviews and PRs.
  • Guide team members, ensuring their contentment, growth, and challenge, always with a compassionate approach.
What we are looking for:
  • Strong ML/Data Science background, experienced in data exploration, feature design, model training and validation, and production model deployment and monitoring.
  • Driven to deliver impactful results and influential work.
  • Minimum 2 years of Engineering Manager experience, leading project execution and delivery.
  • Methodical, detail-oriented, willing to take charge of extensive projects involving multiple teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, intercultural, and communication skills.

Our tech stack includes: Python, Kubernetes, PySpark, Cloud Services like Azure or AWS, Clickhouse, Argo, and Kafka.
