Do you want to work with a highly collaborative, fast-moving engineering group that values automation, cloud excellence, and reliability?We are seeking a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer responsible for moving applications from OCI/VMware into AWS and Azure .This team will design, build, migrate, automate, and operationalize environments that support our long-term cloud strategy—a blend of Cloud Architecture, SRE, DevOps, and Modernization . Our Stack (What You’ll Work With) VMware / OCI: vCenter, ESXi, OCVS Networking: VPC, Subnets, Route53, Direct Connect, VNET, NSG Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform Security: AWS WAF, Shield, Security Hub, Azure Firewall, Key Vault Languages / Tools: Bash, PowerShell, YAML, Git Your Contributions Perform end-to-end migrations of applications from OCI/OCVS → AWS/Azure, including assessment, design, build-out, test support, and cutover. Conduct deep technical discovery to uncover architecture, integrations, data flows, constraints, identity, licensing, and dependencies. Architect future-state designs for each app (VM, container, PaaS, SaaS where applicable). Build landing zone components: VPC/VNet, subnets, IGW/NGW, routing, firewalls, DNS, IAM, security. Create AMIs/VM templates, sizing models, storage layouts, and OS hardening baselines. Develop migration plans, validation steps, and assist with UAT, performance testing, and go-live. Analyze cross-cloud dependencies to avoid latency, egress charges, or architectural drift. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation Build and maintain Terraform modules for AWS and Azure cloud resources. Follow Git workflows for versioning, branching, tagging, and code reviews. Build CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps to automate Terraform plan/apply. Standardize IaC patterns for repeatable execution across all application migrations. VMware / OCVS Expertise Understand existing OCI/VMware environment: ESXi, datastores, vCenter, snapshots. Assess VM sizing, dependencies, and readiness for cloud migration. Coordinate shutdown, cleanup, and decommission of OCVS resources. Site Reliability Engineering Improve reliability, uptime, scalability, and performance of cloud workloads. Build automated deployments, maintenance actions, and operational workflows. Help define SLIs/SLOs and improve operational visibility. Participate in on-call rotations for issues not yet automated, aiming to eliminate repetitive alerts. Observability Engineering Implement Datadog or New Relic instrumentation for APM, logs, metrics, and dashboards. Build monitoring-as-code, alert policies, and cloud-native observability patterns. Baseline performance pre-migration and validate post-migration improvements. Identity, Security & Compliance Integrate applications with Active Directory, Azure AD, and Okta (SAML/OIDC). Configure IAM/RBAC with least-privilege principles. Implement WAF, firewall policies, security monitoring, and certificate management. Apply encryption, key management, and compliance requirements (SOX, PCI, PII). DevOps & Automation Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines, scripts, and cloud-native services. Migrate legacy scripts to automated pipelines in cloud environments. Manage secrets using AWS Secrets Manager or Azure Key Vault. Support blue/green, canary, and rolling deployment strategies. Work with DBAs, Windows/Linux engineers, network/security teams to deliver integrated solutions. Define DR architecture, backup policies, and multi-AZ availability strategies. Perform failure injection testing and validate resilience patterns. Conduct capacity and cost optimization reviews for migrated workloads.
