LatamCent, a U.S.-based fractional CFO firm that supports service‑based businesses, is looking for a full‑time Bookkeeper / Accountant to manage accrual‑based books in QuickBooks Online and support daily CFO operations. Requirements Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks Online (daily, active use). Accrual‑based accounting proficiency. Booking and reviewing payroll journal entries. Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations. Supporting multiple client accounts. Maintaining clean, accurate balance sheets. Responsibilities Category and reconcile bank/credit card transactions monthly. Record and review payroll journal entries, ensuring correct classification between COGS and operating expenses. Maintain a consistent chart of accounts and flag anomalies. Learn and manage each client’s accounting setup, asking clarifying questions as needed. Create and maintain client‑specific SOPs in Notion, updating documentation as processes evolve. Communicate directly with clients on bookkeeping questions over time. Prepare clean, CFO‑ready financial statements and support month‑end close activities. Effectively communicate issues to the CFO team and take ownership of deadlines and deliverables. Desired Qualities Strong experience in QuickBooks Online. Deep understanding of accrual accounting. Solid U.S. bookkeeping and payroll processes knowledge. stederExperience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong written and verbal English communication (C1/C2 required). Ability to explain how and why transactions are booked. Comfortable working within structured processes while thinking independently. Bonus Experience (Nice to Have) Light exposure to budgeting or forecasting. Prior experience supporting CFOs or preparing CFO actor‑ready financials. Experience reviewing or mentoring junior accounting staff. Education Degree in Accounting or a related field strongly preferred. Tools You’ll Use QuickBooks Online Gusto or similar payroll platform Notion Google Workspace Slack or similar communication tools Work Schedule & Requirements Full‑time, Monday through Friday. Availability during U.S. business hours until 5:00 PM Pacific. Reliable, high‑speed internet connection. Quiet, professional home office. High responsiveness during working hours. Growth Opportunities Leading and reviewing work from additional bookkeeping staff. Owning accounting quality across multiple client accounts. Acting as the primary accounting point of contact for select voordat clients. Helping standardize and improve firm‑wide accounting processes.
