Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Scrub Surgical Technician to join our team in the Operating Room at the main hospital in Bolivar, Missouri CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, rehab therapies and more, CMH has its community covered About the department CMH has 23 active surgeons who perform an average of 372 surgeries each month, and the OR consists of 6 out-patient, 3 in-patient, and 1 C-section designated suites that run 4 teams of staff each day. Surgeons work to educate, train, and develop staff to operate fluidly together. A typical day includes Having an understanding of the procedures being performed to anticipate the needs of the surgeons, passing appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment to surgeons while the procedure is underway, and maintaining a safe and sterile work environment at all times. Prepares surgical suite prior to procedure Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for procedures Passes instruments and other tools to surgeons during procedures Prepares sterile dressing, and secures dressing after incision closure Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization Assists in prepping room for the next patient Job Requirements Education: Associate Degree in Applied Science Surgical Technology preferred; high school diploma required Experience: 1 year Scrub Tech experience preferred; LPN or RN experience also accepted Skills: Communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Licensure/Certification: Must be certified, or seek to obtain NBSTSA certification within 36 months of employment; or NCCT or NRST Certified Surgery Tech; or hold a LPN or RN license The position is: Full-time working 4 10-hour shifts each week - 7am-5:30pm Benefits include Competitive wages Annual merit increases No-cost health insurance option for employee Full suite of insurance benefits available for employee and family Early access to pay with on-demand PayActiv Program Employee Assistance Program Paid time off Increased Company Matched Retirement Plan Company paid long-term disability plan Connect with us See yourself at CMH and join in the fun: For more information about this opportunity, please contact Kelly Fender at , or by email at #J-18808-Ljbffr
