Responsibilities As a Data Engineer specialized in ETL, you will play a key role in building and maintaining robust data pipelines that empower our teams to make data-driven decisions. Your responsibilities will include: Designing, developing, and testing scalable ETL processes. Extracting data from a variety of sources, including relational databases, flat files, APIs, and streaming services. Transforming raw datasets into structured, analytics-ready formats. Loading processed data into our target data platforms, such as data warehouses or cloud databases. Implementing robust error handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure reliability and traceability of ETL workflows. Continuously optimizing ETL pipelines for performance, leveraging techniques such as query optimization, indexing, and parallel processing. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure accurate and timely delivery of insights. Requirements Intermediate or higher level of English (spoken and written). Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced, and results-driven environment. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in software development and/or data engineering, with a strong focus on ETL design and implementation. Quick learner with a proactive mindset, capable of adapting to new technologies and evolving business needs. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus. Technical Skills Experience and proficiency in the following areas is highly valued: Programming Languages : Advanced T-SQL (Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Database) Python C# (preferred) ETL Tools : SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) – advanced level Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks (nice to have) What We Offer "Join a company with over 20 years of experience, offering a competitive salary in USD and the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the world.
