Document Control Specialist Summary of Position The Document Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring documents are entered, released and maintained in the PLM correctly; data is accurate and in the appropriate place for internal and external usage. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Process Change Orders (COs) using the PLM in a timely manner with high accuracy in compliance with company procedures. Collaborate with Change Order initiators to ensure accuracy of the change orders. Ensure accurate approval assignment and CO attributes per company procedures. Coordinate data input/maintenance of approved CO and project data (including BOM, component specifications, and engineering drawings). Coordinate document and information transfer between multiple suppliers (contract manufacturers, OEMs) to ensure synchronization of component specifications and Bills of Materials. Assist with efforts to enhance regulatory compliance and business efficiency of the Document Control processes. Provide guidance on company processes and procedures to internal customers and department personnel regarding document format, content, use, control, and the Document Control system. Maintain inspection readiness of the Document Control process at all times. Supervisory Responsibilities No Qualifications Required for Position Fluency in English, both written and spoken Experience with Propel Quality Management System, or equivalent systems Qualifications Preferred for Position Proactive individual with ability to communicate and work well with others. Demonstrates strong attention to detail; monitors own work to ensure quality. Listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; understands nuances related to documentation and customer matters.
