Realistic 3D Characters Team Lead Room 8 Studio $ 9.750.000 – $ Superpowers you have are Proven experience as a Project Lead within a Stylized 3D Character Art team in a game development environment Relevant portfolio with examples of work in the corresponding direction Ability to manage and review the quality of the team’s output, ensuring it meets artistic and technical standards Skills in mentoring, guiding, and resolving artistic and technical challenges within the project team, as well as providing clear, constructive feedback High-poly sculpt in Zbrush SubD modeling in Max / Maya Character topology for animation Cloth simulation in Marvelous Designer Strong knowledge of anatomy Ability to create UV mapping and texture baking (normal, AO, etc.) Texturing in Substance Painter and/or hand-painted texturing Good understanding of modern pipelines and requirements for stylized character creation Ability to follow and correctly interpret/improve the concept idea Teamwork skills Upper-Intermediate+ English level (written and spoken) for seamless collaboration and documentation You’re a rockstar if you have Experience working in game engines (Unreal Engine 4/5, Unity, etc) Drawing skills Good understanding of the rigging and animation process As a part of Room 8 studio, you will Lead projects in stylized 3d character direction Execute quality control of the work of artists in the team Assist and solve problems in the team that are related to the artistic and technical side of the project Organize the work of the team within the project and specific tasks Create technical specifications and guides Create high-poly and low-poly models of stylized characters for games on given concepts Create optimal UV mapping and texture baking (normal, AO, etc.) Work with stylized texturing Join Us – get even more competitive financial reward (yes, we are fair enough) challenges to raise your XPs score (professional trainings and conferences, internal mentorship, English courses) health insurance, paid vacation and sick leave culture of diversity & inclusion to unite the most outstanding talents community of people who understand your game passion Together we will bring games to the next level.
