You’ll join a high-impact team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the core services that power our global financial ecosystem. Your work will be instrumental in supporting high-volume, real-time transactions across multiple regions. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment. You will play a key role building payment systems that move money across Latin America in milliseconds. We process XXM+ transactions monthly. Your code will directly impact millions of users making cross-border payments easier. Requirements:- 5+ years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer.  - Strong experience in system architecture and solution design. - Proven experience in the Fintech industry or with payment systems, wallets, or transactional platforms. - Strong Java Skills. - Experience working with Kafka for real-time event processing. - Strong understanding of MySQL + Redis, handling serious traffic - Familiarity with AWS infrastructure that never sleeps. - Effective communication skills: concise, clear, and to the point. - Fluent in English (written and spoken B2 or More) Soft Skills That Make You Stand Out - Resilient and adaptable in the face of ambiguity or change. - Strong team player who can collaborate effectively across time zones. - Fast thinker, proactive problem solver, and self-starter. - Able to maintain structure and clarity in unstructured or high-pressure environments. - Passionate about delivering impact through technology and continuous improvement. Job Responsabilities - Design, develop and maintain backend systems, APIs and databases. - Work closely with product teams to deliver high-quality solutions. - Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure code quality and performance. - Monitor and improve system reliability.
