Microsoft Alliance Commercial Specialist - EY Global Delivery Services EY The opportunity The Alliance Commercial Specialist works closely with the Global Alliance Commercial Manager to grow the investment we receive year over year from our alliance partner. The role manages commercial activity, evaluates alliance programs, and enables EY’s participation across Member Firm localization. You will develop a deep understanding of Microsoft’s investment programs and be the subject‑matter resource to accelerate contracting while reducing systemic risk. Your key responsibilities Interpret new programs with the alliance partner and Global Commercial Manager; develop plans to leverage and optimize these programs. Coordinate across teams to define repeatable processes and execute them. Drive enablement and execution of alliance investment programs across the Americas, LATAM, and Canadian markets, ensuring regional alignment with global strategy. Engage regional stakeholders – EY service‑line leaders, alliance partner teams, and market enablement leads – to localise and execute investment programs. Collaborate with teams managing ongoing program execution and provide escalation support to sales and delivery teams across sectors and regions. Partner with the Global Commercial Manager and Alliance Relationship Director for executive reporting on investment program performance. Measure success by adoption, risk reduction, and growth in alliance‑attributed pipeline and revenue. Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities Manage complex relationships among multiple stakeholders with competing priorities. Escalate to the Global Alliance Commercial Manager, Alliance Relationship Director, or Alliance Leader when needed. Balance building new programs while running existing ones. Evaluate activities, efforts, and requests against agreed strategy, plan, and EY policies. Prioritise and manage financial requests within allocated budgets. Skills and attributes for success Deep understanding of EY’s matrixed structure and stakeholder ecosystem. Ability to identify decision‑makers and craft tailored communications for each audience. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies, solutions, and the competitive landscape. Understanding of how each technology/solution aligns with EY’s strategy and the alliance partner’s strategy. In‑depth knowledge of the consulting sales and client‑delivery process. Ability to interpret partner programs and advise senior leaders on maximising benefits while minimising risk. High‑level operational decision‑making with appropriate judgement. To qualify for the role, you must have Proficient understanding of how Microsoft partner programs are executed at EY, focusing on engagement finances. Experience with a global system integrator or Big Four firm, exposure to complex partner, incentive, and investment programs. Track record of operationalising complex partner program requirements, processes, reporting, compliance and portal management. Ability to advise senior business leaders on maximising partner program benefits and reducing risks. Influencing and communication skills to engage senior leadership at partner organisations. Strong command of English at a negotiation level; Spanish fluency required. Working knowledge of Microsoft products and technologies. Experience with continuous process improvement, automation initiatives, process mapping, documentation, and audit preparation. Supervision responsibilities Operate independently to drive activation and engagement, direct activities of resources in other practice areas who do not report to you, and guide senior resources. Other requirements Working hours: 9 am – 6 pm (local time Buenos Aires). Travel up to 10% as needed. Technologies and tools Excellent in MS Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI skills are a plus. Project management skills – budgeting, execution, tracking, reviews. Strong time‑management, prioritisation, organisation, and meeting aggressive deadlines across multiple projects. What we look for Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance, Technology). Postgraduate preferably MBA. 12+ years of experience in relevant technology and professional services environments. Proven collaboration with diverse stakeholders across virtual, global environments. Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina.
