Financial Statement Auditor / Senior Audit Associate – Remote Location : Fully Remote Compensation : $1,400 – $1,600 USD Higher Options is looking for a Financial Statement Auditor / Senior Audit Associate to support a U.S.-based public accounting client. This role focuses on audit and accounting work for co-op and condo buildings, small to mid-sized businesses, and select crypto-related clients. If you have solid audit experience, strong attention to detail, and take full ownership of your work in a remote environment, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities Execute audits, reviews, and compilations for co-ops, operating companies, and select crypto clients. Perform audit procedures including walkthroughs, testing, analytics, confirmations, and documentation. Prepare organized digital workpapers, financial statements, and basic management letters. Communicate progress and issues clearly and on time. Maintain and reconcile books in QuickBooks Online. Perform month-end close, adjustments, and clean-up work. Prepare clients for audits and tax filings. Ownership & Communication Take full responsibility for assignments from start to finish. Communicate proactively with internal teams and clients. Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 2–5+ years of audit experience in public accounting. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP. Experience with QuickBooks Online. Experience with AuditFile is a plus. Strong English skills, written and verbal. Detail-oriented, organized, and self-driven. Why Join Us? Long-term remote role with a U.S. client.
