Role Overview The Lifecycle Marketing Strategist oversees audits, strategy, content creation and the setup of broadcast campaigns and email automation for current and prospective clients, as well as SMS campaign execution. The role is cross‑functional, working closely with creative, content, web and other departments. Key Responsibilities Define and drive email marketing and SMS strategy for PDM clients. Manage daily operations of the email marketing channel – maintain a marketing calendar, plan strategy and content, build and deploy email campaigns, conduct A/B testing, measure and report results. Build and manage automated email marketing programs, ensuring end‑to‑end tracking and proper measurement. Collaborate with the creative team to ensure brand guidelines are followed in emails. Report and provide recommendations on lifecycle programs' performance to clients on a monthly basis. Use data to continuously test, measure and optimize the email marketing program. Partner and collaborate cross‑functionally with all other internal digital channels. Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes. Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department. Role Requirements 2-5 years of experience in email marketing strategy, production and end‑to‑end campaign management. Strong analytical and strategic copywriting skills, with experience in A/B testing and data‑driven decision making. Hands‑on experience with email platforms such as Klaviyo, HubSpot, Braze or similar. SMS experience (preferred). Expertise in email best practices, including segmentation, deliverability, copy and design approaches. Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email coding. Excellent communication, rapport building and presentation skills, with the ability to navigate difficult conversations. Proficiency in spoken and written English at an advanced level. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Manage 5–7 enterprise or growth accounts. Maintain below 10% client churn rate. Hit defined EBITDA goal. Most Important Things (MITs) Strategic management of email and SMS campaigns, innovating and/or optimizing to maximize performance. Professional communication – present clearly, concisely and solve problems efficiently. Adoption of Power Digital's processes, product innovations and tools.
