Finance Manager We’re looking for a sharp, hands‑on Finance Manager to take ownership of financial operations, strategy, and controls as we scale. You’ll partner closely with leadership across teams to align budgets with business goals, manage cash flow, ensure financial discipline, and drive insights from our unit economics. This is a high‑impact role with direct influence over our growth trajectory and capital efficiency. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis Own the company‑wide budget process, aligning spending with strategic priorities Lead monthly Budget vs. Actuals reviews with department heads (R&D, Marketing, Ops, G&A) Build dynamic financial models to track and improve unit economics Tie financial insights directly to business actions and performance levers Financial Operations & Controls Manage and oversee accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), treasury, and payroll Work closely with bookkeepers and accountants to ensure clean books and compliance Establish and enforce budgetary discipline on all spend, including contract approvals Oversee payment workflows to vendors, B2B partners, hosts, and other external stakeholders Revenue & Risk Oversight Monitor collections, credit card disputes, and chargebacks Implement AR tracking and recovery processes for B2B clients Track vendor payment schedules and enforce contractual terms Treasury & Cash Management Maintain real‑time visibility into cash flow, burn, and runway Optimize working capital and ensure proper capital allocation Strategic Finance Partner Act as a financial thought partner to the CEO and leadership team Support investor updates, due diligence, and fundraising processes Drive financial readiness for future scaling, including a potential Series A You’re a Great Fit If You: Have 5–10 years of experience in finance roles, including FP&A and financial operations Have worked in a high‑growth startup or tech environment (marketplace experience a plus) Are comfortable owning both strategy and execution (spreadsheets and payment flows alike) Can communicate financial data in a clear, actionable way to non‑finance stakeholders Thrive in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment and value accountability and iteration Why Localbird?
