About The Role We are hiring an Email Marketing Specialist – a sharp, creative thinker with a passion for storytelling, conversion, and customer retention. This is not a plug‑and‑play execution role; it requires a high level of ownership, creative problem‑solving, and a strong grasp of lifecycle marketing strategy. You’ll partner closely with Retention Managers and designers to develop and deploy high‑performing email and SMS campaigns for some of the fastest‑growing DTC brands in the world. From ideation and copywriting to QA and reporting, you’ll be hands‑on throughout the lifecycle, translating insights into messages that drive revenue, deepen loyalty, and elevate the customer experience. This is a fully remote role supporting a team in the EST time zone and is open to candidates based in Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Argentina, Colombia and Mexico. A Day in the Life Work directly with a Retention Marketing Manager to execute data‑driven email and SMS strategies for our DTC/e‑commerce clients. On a daily basis, you will execute tasks for clients including writing, proofing, and scheduling email and SMS campaigns. You’ll work directly with clients to manage the revision and approval process of their emails and SMS messages. On a monthly basis, you’ll develop creative campaign concepts for your client’s retention marketing calendars. You’ll work directly with our in‑house design team to develop the design approach, ensuring the design vision for campaigns and flows comes to life, and managing the revision and approval process for client emails. You’ll produce the copy for your campaign concepts and work directly with the client to gain approval on briefs before sending them to our in‑house designers. Driven and enjoy coming to the team and clients with new retention marketing ideas. Execute automation/flow logic set‑up, pop‑up builds, and app integrations. Who You Are We're looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to join our team In this role, you will write email and SMS marketing copy, build and deploy email and SMS flows and campaigns, and develop content for our e‑commerce, DTC clients. You’re passionate about developing creative email and SMS marketing copy that drives loyalty and lifetime value for e‑commerce clients. You have experience working in Klaviyo or a similar ESP. You’re passionate about marketing, and especially interested in learning and growing in the DTC and e‑commerce marketing industry. You’re a creative and experienced writer and looking to grow your career in marketing copywriting. You’re used to working in a fast‑paced environment and can project manage multiple tasks at once for yourself, your team and your clients. You dedicate time to learning and being on the cutting edge of trends and best practices in the world of DTC marketing. To Consider This Role 2‑4 years of work experience in digital marketing, copywriting, growth marketing, e‑commerce, etc. Past experience working at an agency or working with multiple clients in a fast‑paced environment. Experience working with Klaviyo or similar email service providers. Enthusiastic, passionate, and creative; thrives on thinking outside of the box to create new best‑in‑class customer experiences. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, plus the ability to clearly articulate and express complex and sometimes technical ideas to a wide variety of people and groups at any level.
