Product Development and Sourcing Manager (Pest Control) Schedule: Monday - Friday (8am-5pm PST) Salary: $4800 - $5500 per month At BugMD, we're redefining pest control — creating safe, effective, and science-backed solutions that protect homes without harsh chemicals. We're part of eJam Inc., a rapidly growing consumer products incubator that builds and scales category-leading brands in eCommerce, retail, and Amazon. We're looking for a Product Development & Sourcing Manager - Pest Control to lead the creation, formulation, and production of our next generation of pest defense products. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing or sourcing pest control formulations—especially EPA 25(b) exempt products—and has worked directly with formulators, contract manufacturers, or brands in the pest control industry. This position can be remote and may be based inside or outside of the United States. However, it requires regular travel to manufacturing facilities, testing labs, and suppliers for product development, trials, and production oversight. What You'll Do Lead development and sourcing of natural and conventional pest control products (sprays, concentrates, traps, and devices) Collaborate with formulators, testing labs, and contract manufacturers to ensure performance, safety, and compliance Translate product briefs into EPA 25(b)-compliant formulations that meet efficacy, cost, and consumer expectations Conduct on-site pilot runs, production trials, and quality evaluations with manufacturing partners Manage vendor relationships, technical documentation, and certification processes Partner cross-functionally with regulatory, packaging, and marketing teams to deliver launch-ready products Stay ahead of category trends, ingredient innovations, and changes in EPA/FIFRA regulations Requirements 5+ years of experience in pest control product development, sourcing, or formulation (brand, formulator, or contract manufacturer) Direct experience with EPA 25(b) exempt formulations and natural pest control ingredients Strong technical knowledge of essential oils, surfactants, carriers, and natural actives used in pest repellents Proven ability to manage contract manufacturers, labs, and testing facilities Familiarity with EPA, FIFRA, and state-level regulatory frameworks for pest control products Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or related technical field (or equivalent experience) Excellent communication and project management skills across international teams Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (estimated 20-30% of time) Benefits KPI based bonuses (10% of your annual salary) PTO: observed local holidays, vacation days, sick days Build products that make a real impact in millions of homes Be part of a dynamic, remote-first global team with strong growth opportunities Competitive compensation, flexibility, and travel to manufacturing partners Worldwide #J-18808-Ljbffr
