Overview Sr. Business Analyst role at Cognizant . As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will analyze business processes and translate customer requirements into optimized solutions for payment systems. You will be a valued member of the Technology & Engineering team and work collaboratively with developers, project managers, and client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of high-quality solutions. Responsibilities Collaborate with management and clients to identify and document end-user requirements. Evaluate, analyze, and communicate system requirements on a continuous basis. Perform discovery of current processes and platforms, and conduct gap analysis against FIS standard solutions. Develop clear documentation and communicate effectively with technical and business teams. Partner with developers to define optimized system integration and ensure requirements meet customer quality standards. Work model We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. This role is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Regardless of working arrangement, we support a healthy work-life balance through our wellbeing programs. What You Need To Have To Be Considered Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Proven experience in identifying and building end-user requirements. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (advanced/fluent). Deep knowledge of payment applications and transactional systems. Strong understanding of banking or processing back-office operations. Expertise in ISO 8583 protocol and payment network concepts (card schemes, certification processes, policies, workflows). High proficiency in writing business requirements and generating process documentation. Experience with data visualization tools. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong analytical and follow-up abilities. These will help you stand out Functional knowledge of FIS applications such as IST Switch, Clearing, MAS, CBK, Data Navigator, or Fraud Navigator. Familiarity with business rules for payment applications. Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
