Overview You will be part of an outstanding technical pre-sales team in Cisco's Global Security Sales Organization (GSSO), responsible for driving the success of Cisco’s Security Portfolio and focusing on protecting Customer Application Environments no matter where they live (on‑prem / any cloud). Your Impact As an advisor to the customer, you’ll work with technology experts to craft architectures and configure products to meet customer needs. You will lead all technical aspects of pre‑sales activities and position security solutions effectively against competing offerings. You are a bold starter and self‑starter with the ability to build executive relationships, develop and execute sales strategies, articulate Cisco’s product and business strategies, and create demand that drives deals. You Will Serve as the authority in Cisco security solutions Understand business requirements for a customer base and translate them into technical requirements Understand and articulate Cisco’s architecture and services within security technologies Perform in-depth and high‑level technical presentations for customers, partners, and prospects Minimum Qualifications 8+ years of technical sales or pre‑sales experience with 4+ years focused in Security Network Security: Next Generation Firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, NAC, NDR and Network Segmentation Secure Services Edge (SSE) – Secure Web Gateway (SWG), DLP, CASB and ZTNA Good communication skills in English Travel required Preferred Qualifications CCIE Security, Cloud Architect Professional Certified, CISSP Certification Secure Access Service Edge (SASE): experience with SD‑WAN + SSE Endpoint Security, Threat Detection and Response: experience with AV, EDR, IR, XDR, SIEM, SOAR Cloud Security and Application Security: cloud networking and security expertise, knowledge with CSPM, CNAPP, WAF, API Security, and Workload protection Identity and Access Management (IAM): MFA, SSO, PAM, and identity federation protocols like SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect Programming languages such as UNIX shell, Perl, C, Python, and operating systems Linux, Windows and macOS, and Kubernetes BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent Why Cisco?
