IT Office Support Specialist

As a Media.Monks IT Office Support Specialist, you are a vital key in helping our fellow Monks stay up & running with their technology, as well as keeping our BA office running in tip‑top shape You would be working on a Global IT team focusing on in‑office support, asset management, and delivering world‑class customer support face‑to‑face. (LI-Hybrid #LI-SH1) Being the in‑office point of contact for technical problems & troubleshooting that staff may have with computer hardware and/or software Installing, supporting, and providing routine maintenance to all in‑office hardware (computers & printers) and software, such as Mac/Windows Troubleshooting, repairing, or replacing IT equipment (as necessary) Maintaining IT policies & documentation that provide technical support to the entire organization Maintaining in‑office Meeting Room equipment & technology Being in charge of maintaining storage and stock up to date Cable Management & general tidiness of IT office equipment Supporting the implementation of new solutions or apps in our environment Shipping & receiving new hire equipment. Arrange pick‑ups and also deliver mice if needed Even though your main focus is BA Office, you may be asked to help your fellow IT support team members by answering general questions in our ticket system FreshService, or through Slack. Technical experience needed for this role 1+ years of experience in a technical support role Certifications are preferred (but not required) Extensive Mac and macOS knowledge Windows knowledge is a plus Working with Google Workspace, Jamf, Crowdstrike, Office365, Slack, and Freshservice Printer troubleshooting and maintenance Setting up & maintaining meeting room hardware & software Troubleshooting & responding to WiFi or other simple networking questions Maintaining ISO docs (inventory and asset tracking) Processing & receiving broken hardware and repairs Equipment lifecycle processing or recycling Shipping & receiving new hire equipment Our team is looking for the following Must have strong interpersonal communication and relationship‑building skills A considerable amount of independence is needed for this job as you'll primarily work alone in the office while representing the Global IT team Have a tremendous team‑oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems Have the willingness to solve complicated problems, give out‑of‑the‑box solutions & see projects through to completion Have the ability to manage time & effectively prioritize numerous projects at one time About Media.Monks Media.Monks is on a mission to create a new future for this industry.
