SENIOR MANUAL QA ENGINEER

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina/Colombia. Our client is a rapidly growing leader in online training and live training across a wide range of industries and professions. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance. Proven work experience in software development, specifically in web development Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Expertise in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing. Experience with automated testing tools. Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum methodology in the development process, especially ScrumBan. Hands-on experience with databases for data verification. Hands-on experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and SOAP. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject. Nice to have Familiarity with Linear and other modern testing tools. Familiarity with Medusa (a commerce platform). Familiarity with Drupal (CMS). Exposure to test automation frameworks and scripting. Experience with performance and/or security testing. Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Responsibilities Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the web platforms. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Maintain technical documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and bug reports. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities. Proactively suggest improvements to existing processes and tools aligned with the latest industry trends and developments. Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs. Work closely with the scrum team to prioritize and fix identified bugs and issues on time. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs. Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and marketing managers) to identify system requirements. Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions. Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
