The Role The Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer ensures that DatumSure’s secure Enterprise AI Data Platform is delivered with the highest levels of reliability, accuracy, and performance. This role is critical in enabling predictable, on‑time releases; safeguarding data integrity; and supporting customer onboarding by validating every component of the platform end-to-end. They work at the intersection of Engineering, Data, and DevOps and serve as a quality champion across the SDLC. Define and maintain the QA strategy (Automation + Manual). Improve test coverage, processes, and quality gates. Mentor other team members on QA best practices. Automation Maintain and extend automation framework (behave, python). Automate regression tests and integration tests. Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (docker knowledge). Implement performance testing (e.g., K6, JMeter). Manual Testing Create, review, and execute test cases, test suites, and regression plans. Test new features, APIs, database flows, and integrations. Support UAT processes and production validation. Bug tracking. Technical Work Validate backend APIs and web apps. Debug issues using logs, monitoring tools, and tracing. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with developers to debug issues. Collaborate with PMs to clarify acceptance criteria. Participate in design/release meetings. Required Skills Technical Skills Strong experience with manual QA + automation. Test frameworks: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Behavex. Data handling and analysis (AI and LLMs knowledge). API testing tools: Postman, REST Assured, supertest, or similar. Solid SQL knowledge. Experience testing microservices. Experience with version control (Git, BitBucket). Experience with AWS (EC2, ECS/AppRunner, S3 buckets). Experience with Docker. Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, locust, k6). Processes Agile / Scrum. CI/CD experience (Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo). Experience with version control best practices (feature branches, PR reviews). Soft Skills Very strong communication (client‑facing). Proactive, able to work with minimal supervision.
