Scrub Technician

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Surgical Technologist to join our team in the Operating Room at the main hospital in Bolivar, Missouri CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long‑term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. Only an hour south is Branson, where you can take in a family‑friendly show, visit Silver Dollar City, or experience world‑class shopping at the Branson Landing About the department: The OR consists of 23 active surgeons who perform an average of 372 surgeries/month. The OR has 6 outpatient, 3 inpatient, and 1 C‑section designated suites that run 4 teams of staff/day. The surgeons work to educate, train, and develop staff to operate fluidly together. A typical day includes: Assisting with the supplies and needs of the department. Maintaining a safe, clean patient care environment; knowing and applying aseptic and sterile techniques as applicable. Provides perioperative care of the patient Prepares the operating room and equipment Provides support to physicians and nurses while the procedure is underway Handles specimens collected Job Requirements: Education: High school diploma required; a degree in applied science preferred Experience: 1 year Scrub Tech experience preferred Skills: Organization, teamwork, able to work in a fast‑paced environment Licensure/Certification: Non-Certified Technician: Must work toward or obtaining NBSTSA certification or NCCT Certified Scrub Tech within 36 months of employment, or LPN or RN Certified Surgical Technologist: NBSTSA certification required or NCCT Certified Scrub Tech, or LPN/RN Physical: Standing/walking for long periods of time, ability to lift and move patients and equipment, good manual dexterity and visual acuity The position is Part‑time working 2 10‑hour shifts - 7am‑5:30pm.
