Technical Leader - Latin America - Remote Azumo is looking for a highly motivated Technical Leader to develop and enhance high‑performing and scalable software solutions in Python, .NET, Machine Learning Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, JavaScript, and Java, among other technological challenges. We will only be considering candidates based in Latin America, as most of our engineers are based there. This position will give you the opportunity to collaborate with a growing team and bright engineering minds in software development, data, and AI. You will enjoy the role if you love designing and developing scalable, high‑performance software solutions using Python, .NET, Java, JavaScript, and modern data technologies, and connecting applications to modern cloud‑based technologies. Technical leaders take charge of technical teams, ensuring the smooth functioning of technical operations, monitoring and evaluating staff progress, assisting with training and recruitment, setting goals, and ensuring overall client satisfaction. Responsibilities Define the architecture, deliverables, and timelines Lead your team through the scrum process to deliver valuable software solutions Create end goals for your team Delegate work and assignments to team members Collaborate with your team to identify and fix technical problems Supervise system modifications Conduct security audits to identify areas of improvement Liaise with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard Write progress reports and deliver presentations to stakeholders Hire and train technical personnel Requirements BS or Master's degree in Computer Science, related degree, or equivalent experience 10+ years of experience with software development in Java, Python, .NET, JavaScript/NodeJS, or data technologies 7+ years of experience leading development teams Solid English level Deep expertise with Linux and hosted cloud environments (Heroku, AWS, App Engine, or others) Practical experience with open‑source technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases Experience integrating solutions with 3rd‑party APIs (RESTful, OAuth, JSON) Self‑driven and motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem‑solving Strong experience with backend development, data systems, or scalable software architecture Benefits Paid time off (PTO) U.S. Holidays Training Udemy free Premium access Mentored career development Free English Courses Profit Sharing US Remuneration Seniority level: Director Employment type: Full‑time Industries IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
